All About Pads
There are lots of different pads out there to use, so it might get confusing! Keep reading to learn about the different types, and find out whats best for you.
Some girls have heavy periods, while others have lighter ones. Pads come in many different absorbencies, so girls with lighter periods don't have to feel like they're wearing something too big for their flow, and someone with a heavy period won't need to worry about leaking.
There are many different types of pads such as daytime, nighttime, slender, regular, heavy, reusable, maxi, mini, without wings, with wings, scented, or non scented. It may seem confusing at first, but the good news is with all the choices you'll be able to find a pad perfect for you! To put on a pad, all you need to do is unwrap the packaging, place the sticky adhesive on the bottom of your underwear, and if your pad has wings fold them down and around. You may want to keep the packaging to wrap your pad once you've wore it. Remember to never flush a pad! If you're not interested in having to always buy products, you could try reusable pads. These are buttoned or clipped under your underwear, and washed once wore. Its all a matter of personal preference whether you use them or not. No matter the type of pad, you should change yours every 3-4 hours. Regular changing prevents bacteria from forming and causing a bad odor. ----------------------------------------------------------------- |
