Breast Development in Puberty
Boobs are definitely a sensitive topic to discus with your parents, but it's important to learn about their growth and purpose.
At around age 11, your body grows breast buds (mounds or bumps under the nipple). It could happen a few years earlier or later, and that's totally okay. It's a good idea to start wearing training bras.
During the next stage of development, your whole breast will get larger. Your nipple and areola (area around nipple) grow bigger and darker. You may even notice hair growing there, and a clear liquid may come out of your nipples.
The whole process takes about 2-3 years. It's not uncommon for one breast to grow faster than the other, and can sometimes take awhile to "even out".

Size and Shape Doesn't Matter
Whether you breasts are small, big, pear shaped or pancake shaped - it doesn't matter!
Girls often have issues with the size of their breasts. Girls with a smaller chest may feel that they'll never be as sexy as their busty friends, or sad because boys make fun of them being flat. Girls with bigger breasts may have back and shoulder pain, and many unwanted staring eyes.
There's a lot of false ideas about breasts. Some people think that girls with bigger boobs are more available/better at sex! But that is not true.
Different sizes appeal to different people, and you shouldn't have to think that you need big breasts for people to like you. Learn to love your chest the unique way it is!

Purpose
Your boobs aren't just there for nothing! Once you have kids on your own, you have the choice of feeding your baby formula, or breast milk. Breast milk is a liquid that comes out of your breasts, through your nipples! Only pregnant/breastfeeding mothers can produce it.
